Pat
President
While in junior high and high school Pat Richard, President of Spire Group, wrote papers and business plans about his future construction companies. He had aspirations that his company would make a difference in people’s lives. Now his construction company is working hard to do just that. Pat is a third generation carpenter by trade and has 20 years of construction industry experience. His field experience includes rough and finish carpentry, concrete construction and steel construction. After graduating from Purdue with a B.S. in Construction Management, Pat served as the general manager for a mid sized, local construction firm. This firm specialized in large scale wood framing projects and general contracting of homes and multi family projects.
In 2001 Pat started Spire Group. His goal is to partner old school values with new school technology and make the building process of putting the thousands of pieces together with hundreds of men as efficient as possible.
Holly
Office Manager
Holly, Pat’s wife, has B.A. from Purdue in Elementary Education. She taught kindergarten for the first few years of their marriage and decided when they had children to stay at home to raise them. Not that she has a lot of spare time while raising two kids but what time she does have she spends working to insure that our office is well organized and running smoothly. She uses her classroom management skills to make certain that everyone is organized, stays in line and follows the rules.
Jan
Maintenance and Warranty Service Supervisor
Jan, who is quite crafty, has over 40 years of construction industry experience. His father owned and operated a construction company in Lafayette for over 30 years. Jan is known for the many different tools he has in his van and the amount of things he can fix when everyone else says it can not be fixed.
